Winter flowers

Although blue skies are promised, yesterday was very overcast and dark.  Some flowers however, were doing their duty, and especially the hellebores and snowdrops were growing in big clumps.

Animal spoor - the spine of a porcupine - istrice

If you go to the right place, you can see the Christmas roses in profusion

It's better for the photographer if they hold their heads up - they do so rarely!

The snowdrop - bucaneve - still only just beginning, with most still closed

The bridge by the mill on the path to Tiglio

An anemone - very early for this to flower
The primrose - now that is a spring flower!
